Claire D'Aoust was born and raised in Detroit, MI. She moved to Brooklyn to pursue a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Pratt Institute, where she graduated with honors in 2006. Though based in Brooklyn, her Midwestern sensibilities continue to inform her work. Claire is currently freelancing in both web and industrial design.
